The Nokia website says they are 32MB of RAM. I came to the conclusion that it has 32MB RAM, 2MB are dedicated to running applications in Java, right?
And what the CPU clock? With the help of JBenchmark ACE application it says that it has a processor "ARM Jazelle 9" of 230MHz, correct? |

A Java application running on the 5310 XpressMusic has access to 2Mb of memory (heap). What memory it has beyond that is not documented.
Nokia don't publish CPU specifications for Series 40 devices. The CPU specification is not really relevant to a J2ME developer. JBenchmark's database will give you some idea of the performance of the device relative to other devices. A combination of hardware and software factors will influence this, and will affect what kind fo application will be faster or slower. (For example, the existance of hardware assistance for 3D graphics will affect only the 3D graphic performance.) Graham. |

The site of Brazil says: combo with flash memory of 64 MB and 32 MB of RAM.
The information the CPU clock, so I understand it, is confidential to Nokia? |
|
Like I say, they don't publish the clock speed. Clock speeds do not translate well into Java performance.
Beyond the memory available to Java, the amount does not really matter. |

If the phone will never use all the RAM for the java, what the phone restarts when memory failure for an application? When no it restarts, it is very slow, and hangs in operations such as opening the music player.
That is a S40! |

I'm sorry, I don't understand what you're asking.
Are you developing an application for a Nokia device? |
