I am unable to submit my application for Xpress symbian signing.
Giving the following error. File name: My App.zip Submitted: False Message: Signing failed due to unknown reason. Have posted this query in symbian.org http://developer.symbian.org/forum/s...ead.php?t=3637 no response yet. Does symbian signing has any concept of "mandatory time" like thing i.e. after some fixed duration of time only you can submit the same application in Xpress signing. You should have posted your problem in the Symbian Signed Support forum, but I guess somebody will notice it on the current location as well.
As far as I know there is no limit on how soon you can re-submit the application for signing. The server must have a problem of some sorts which may or may not be triggered by a problem with your submitted package. You should just wait for guidance from the Symbian Signed team. P.S. There are others having the same problem (see http://developer.symbian.org/forum/s...ead.php?t=3641) as you have, it is likely just a server glitch so wait for it to be fixed. -- Lucian Today's useful link: On device debugging - screencasts Yesterday's useful link: How do I start programming for Symbian OS? Hi there,
I have exactly the same problem today in trying to sign FExplorer Pro : "Signing failed due to unknown reason", hope it's a problem with the server and not my application .... I'm glad to hear that you're finally signing the app and that you will hopefully remove that unsigned sis file from your server.
![]() Yes, there are several such complains today so I'm sure it's just the server. -- Lucian Today's useful link: On device debugging - screencasts Yesterday's useful link: How do I start programming for Symbian OS? Latest blog post: Build without an SDK, test without a device

It is week-end so whatever simple glitch the server has if it requires someone to be there to fix it I guess it will have to wait until business hours start the next working day in London. Nothing to do with the Symbian Signed process, it's just how stuff works since slavery was abolished and employees are allowed to go home and relax for a while
