I am developing one application in JSR-82. I creted my own service record in SDP and I can send and receive file by using OBEX protocol. But for security of my application, I want that no other service should be available on other channel. Can you tell me how to block the channel so that I can avoid to receive the data from unknown resouces?
Do reply. Thanks and regards, sheetal |

Hi,
Basically you cannot the authenication of bluetooth authentication=true does not work depending on you phone the encrytion will work, but the remote cannot connect to the phone as you cannot determine encrytion. You CAN hold a list of blue tooth addresses that are allowed to connect to the port/ service as a second level of security no top of pairing pin code If you sdont want others to see the phone set discovery hidden. Good Luck Jim |
