Problem with PyS60RemoteControl -

I have recently downloaded and installed PyS60RemoteControl according to the readme.txt
My problem is, when I start the PyS60RC-phone.py script on my phone. It loads and connects with my bluetooth, then the screen goes all white and it doesn't do anything. It's doesn't hang my phone up, just stops there. When I press the left soft key, it allows me the option to exit, but that doesn't work. Any ideas what I might be doing wrong or how I can get up and running. I have a nokia 6600.
