E50 bluetooth doesn´t support dispositves with "stand-by mode".
I have a Gps bluetooth Qstarz BT-Q818 and its not compatible: each 1-2 minutes i lose bluetooth conection, after 20 seconds, the bluetooth conection starts again.
This gps works correctly with othes Nokia phones but not with E50.
I have tried unsuccessfully this nokia firmwares:
V 06.27.1.0
V 06.28.3.0
v 06.41.3.0

Nokia support and Qstarz support doesn´t give me a solution.

Is there any symbian program or bluetooth alternative controller to correct this bug keeping alive any bluetooth conection?

Is nokia working to correct it on next firmwares?

Maybe a symbian developer may design a simple aplication to "keep alive" any bluetooth conection on Nokia E50 (s60 3rd edition) without wainting for a future firmware update.

I have found a previous forum asking for something similar: looking for an aplication with implements the synchonization profile:

" We already know that the Bluetooth stack in the Nokia E50 includes support for the OBEX protocol, and that the "Synchronization Profile (SYNCH)" is based on OBEX.

Question: is it technicaly possible to develop an S60 application, which implements the "Synchronization Profile (SYNCH)"?"
