Hi All,
I have been searching for information about interfacing the mobile phones with the out side world for almost five days. I have read alot alot of docs, tuts and examples but I could not find a final ansower about where and what to use. What I need is a way to make my mobile phone send and receive data (bytes prefared) to and from another devices, this device can a PC or microcontroller. I was searching for ansoweres for the following quesions: Q1 : What platform (S40,S60) support outside communications? which version? Q2 : what technology is used (IRDa, BT, Serial port cables, ...) ? Q3 : What programming language can be used for that? I was also trying to find: P1: Is it true that IrDa & BT are ways used by the communication server on S60 platforms to connect to other devices? P2: Is ir true that S60 3.0 devices have an serial port builtin? P3: is it true that IrDa protocol is differnt than RS232? P3: is there BT sensors to be used with the outside device for communication with my phone? All what I need is to make my phone connected to an outside device and how. I appreciate any help on this. thanx in advance for any help. |
