Does anyone know if it's possible to use SMS to alert someone to an address from which to download a midlet ota?
If so, how is it done? does one simply send out a wml address which the user clicks on, or, does one need to write some kind of sms application which redirects the user's response to a wml address which then offers the midlet ota? any pointers to any available documentation on this would be much appreciated. thanks, SQ |

Hello Sandie,
You can send an SMS containing a link to a MIDlet through a method called WAP Push. See the document Getting Started with WAP Push in Forum Nokia -> Browsing WAP -> Nokia XHTML/WML -> Documents. It shows how to create the message programmatically. Regards, Petteri / Forum Nokia |
