hi everybody
i know j2me support serial comunication

can i make the serial comunication between my j2me application and the modem of mobile (that the application installed on).

i think if that possible i may use the ip: 127.0.0.1 as i communicate with local machine but which port i use to communicate with modem also will i need authentication or handshaking ??
