Hi,
I developed a java CLDC-1.0 MIDP 1.0 program that sends an SMS using Sony-Ericsson J2ME SDK, it runs perfectly on the Sony Ericsson T637 phone. When I tried to load it in the S60 Nokia it reports a security error.

1) The JAR and JAD files generated by both companies are compatible?

2) I don't have a certificate. How can I avoid the phone ask me each time the program runs and have to send an SMS?

thxs in advance,
marcelo

Give a try with changing the JAD,MF entries to CLDC 1.1 MIDP 2.0. Which port number are you using? Are you using any Sony Ericsson specific methods?

Regards
Gopal
