It has been months since the JSR 135 MMAPI was finalised.
Does anyone know when it will be avialbe for developers on
a Nokia phone? - More importantly for me - Will Nokias implmentation support JSR 118, MIDP 2.0?

Hi,

Mobile Media API (JSR 135) will be supported in the Nokia 3650. This device will be available in the beginning of 2003. This is for the moment the only Nokia phone supporting this API.

MIDP 2.0 is now in final approval stage since the beginning of this week (4-11-2002) so we can bet that it will be approved in few weeks. This is a good news. Nokia is a member of this JSR so I really don't see why MIDP 2.0 would not be implemented in their devices.
