AFAIK u'll have to make a symbian app out of your .py script and use a third party app to autostart it. I hope there is another way.
I am new to python but I do feel it is in everyone's interest that someone writes a exec_script launcher which can autostart python scripts on bootup.

Please check this previous thread:

The standalone application is a C++ exec_script launcher running the given script.

Thank you for your reply Ifd.
I know that the standalone application is a C++ exec_script launcher which runs the _default.py_ script. What I intended was a .py script which when launched by the standalone application sequentially executes multiple scripts i.e. a standalone application which launches multiple scripts when run. I don't want the _default.py_ for the standalone to require any input from the user but rather launch some .py scripts based on their location. The location may be present in the _default.py_ itself or it can read a .ini/txt file which contains locations.

Thus on running the standalone app say on bootup, spawns multiple scripts. It will be useful to launch scripts with multiple functions instead of running multiple standalones.
But something tells me that a separate interpreter is needed for each .py launched. . Plz. correct me if I am wrong. i am a noob to python.
