Guys,
This is my first post on this forum, I've read it trough and trough. I've tried every single option mentioned on this board to get my bluetooth to work but it just doensn't want to. When my machine boots 2 apps instantaniously crash. Broadcastproxy and ECTaskScheduler. I'm unable to connect my mobile to the mrouter (no ports show up) and as soon as I start de suite the same broadcastproxy crashed again, toghether with CapMan & FrameWork. Has anyone encountered the same problem ? Specs : MSI KT3Ultra2 BR (Bluetooth Module) AMD XP2200+ CPU Windows XP SP1 / All patches. Connected to a domain (Firewall Client for ISA Server running) Symantec Corporate Antivirus. Latest PC Suite from Nokia site. Latest MSI drivers from MSI. Note: I haven't tried reinstalling my machine up till now and I don't intend to. I hope someone out here can help me. |

PC Suite for Nokia 7650 does not support WinXP.
An important issue when using mRouter and PC Suite is to first connect from Bluetooth software to the phone using Serial Port service. Then mark the same COM port in mRouter. Now mRouter should be connecting and PC Suite should be online. Seppo Forum Nokia |

It works on my laptop however. That one is running windows XP SP1.
I just don't see why it works on one machine and doesn't on the other. This is the worst software I've ever installed. I'm perfectly happy with my 7650 but that part I just like to forget about. I have bluetooth / IR & Firewire on all of my machines. Exactly the same soft on all of'm ... and on some it works, on other it doesnt. Explain that to me .. When is the XP version due ? |
