I'm new to bluetooth technology and i thought it was as simple as putting my cell-phone next to my notebook to get connected.

I have just bought 6310i and found in the (not so) Quick Guide for Modem Setup (filename: qg_ms_6310i_Eng.pdf) that bluetooth connection is available for Windows 98/Me/200 ONLY. How about my WindowsXP?

In another downloadable manual from www.forum.nokia.com --Specification for 6310 Bluetooth Application-- I have an understanding that to setup my 6310i as a modem doesn't really require Modem Setup application. Instead, it goes straight from cell-phone to notebook by activating both bluetooth modules.

How to select 6310i as a modem in my WindowsXP? can the Modem Setup application in my PCSoftware CD (dated 2002) run under WindowsXP? if not then where should I download the application from?
