I have a usb bluetooth device that comes with software that is able to make connections to my nokia 2865i phone; to this point, I can transfer files and what not. What I am trying to do is make a serial connection to the phone and use hyperterminal. When I try to use hyperterminal on the proper com port it will start up the connection (my phone prompts me to accept the incomming connection), then states its "connecting". however when I try to use hyperterminal either nothing happens or as soon as I try to send data via hyperterm the phone responds with connection failed. Does anyone have any input on the proper baud speeds and what not? I have tried some different configs with no success. as a side note I was able to do this with a serial cable on a 6800 and the nokia suite. I am currently not using the nokia suite to try this. It seems like I shouldn't need it considering the bluetooth suite is able to make file transfers. Any help would be greatly appreciated... ty
btw... I am using bluesoleil bluetooth suite
