i am doing one j2me application for controlling(disable) screen saver using DeviceControl.setLights(0, 100);

i ported my apps in Nokia 6630 and N70 but its not working.......then i ported in Nokia 6230i its working(always keeping backlight "On" condition every 5 sec loop)......

(Note :Nokia 6230i its 40 Series mobile)

why its not working in S60 series ......what i have to do, it will work on that mobiles.....

please help me out as soon as possible.....

thanks for ur reply yes my Nokia N70 and 6630 is S60 2nd Edition....

but how its possible work on S40 series mobile 6230i....

Series 40 are based on Nokia OS and S60 phones are based on Symbian OS. There are Java ME implementation differences between these two platforms. This is one of them.
