hi guys i am using CheckBoxes for selecting few things from user. i amusing nokia E50. probelm is user has to create these choices at runtime. meaning i have provided an interface to the user when he can add and remove checkboxes after selection but when ever a new check box is addedd or delete the screen flickers. i was wondering if there is a possible solution for that as it irritates.

Also there is space between the checkbox and the text written next to checkbox i have tried many different things to eliminate the space in between but nothing seems to work.

any ideas, thoughts?

Unfortunately I do not think that there is a solution for your problems. The flicker seems to be an issue on S60 forms and the spacing between the box and the text is determined by the Java ME environment implementation.

thanx a lot hartti finally i have some definate answer as i have searched a lot and wasnt able to find solution to these visibly simple issues.
