Hello,
I am writing a MIDlet for the N95 for which I need to keep the backlight switched on. I am able to do this via DeviceControl however, the screen saver still comes on. In the Symbian settings it is possible to adjust the power-saver timeout. However, it is not possible to disable it completely. In fact, I just updated to the new 12 firmware version and the timeout has been reduced from 30 minutes to a maximum of 90 seconds! Does anyone know if there is a way via a MIDlet to keep the screen saver from coming on on the N95 or if there is a Symbian setting somewhere to disable the power-saver / screen saver completely? Thanks! Jason |

Just to be more specific, I am using the solution detailed here:
http://www.forum.nokia.com/document/...60_devices.htm This keeps the backlight on, until the screen saver comes on, then the backlight goes off, although I'm still calling DeviceControl.setLights( 0, 100 ); every two seconds. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Edit/Delete Message |

Same problem here we just can't get this solution working on latest N95 firmware.
