hello ,
Carknue and Georg have made a GSMMonitor in PyS60 ![]() Carknue seems to have begin with this and now it's available at this Yahoo group PyNetMony is often updated ! Now it's already 0.5.2 version ![]() requirement : locationrequestor module link : You must be registed before downloading PyNetMony ! pys60 1.4.5,1.9.7,pygame,PyS60 CE on E90 , N810 with Python 2.5.2 and ... last PyS60 1.9.7 with touch ui on 5800 ! pys60 extension modules on http://cyke64.googlepages.com/ |

Ah, now that you have mentioned it...
![]() Of course we are still looking for beta testers. The locationrequestor module is only required if you want GPS coordinates. Additionally, you can install wlantools to scan for wireless networks. I am running an unofficial download server at http://op-co.de/pynetmony/ which doesn't require a yahoo login, but isn't always synced to the main repository. |
|
I just put some screenshots together with the new version 0.7.0 on a web page. PyNetMony now also includes a WLAN and Bluetooth scanner.
PyNetMony 0.7.0

Just uploaded a new version of PyNetMony.
Now it shows all the Bluetooth device classes and some other minor things. A bluetooth scan in crowded places needs much longer, up to 3 minutes for more than 40 BT devices in range, so I made the timeout selectable. PyNetMony 0.7.1

Is it missing fonts or bugs that give alphabets the appearance of empty rectangular boxes on all tabs be it wlan, bt, cellinfo, gps, etc. Only certain numerical characters appear correctly.
Wud appreciate advise on how to correct this anomaly. Best, wirefree101 |

download counter is down again. can you post another direct link please?
thanks |

Yes, Downloadcounter.com seems to be pretty dead now. I removed it from the download link. It should work now, but I hope that you have a devcert, online signing will not work for pynetmony anymore

Not really, I changed the UID to an unprotected one in the pynetmony.sis, so you can sign it online. All needed modules, like wlantools, locationrequester and so on can also be signed online.
Pynetmony with unprotected UID |

I tried to sign online the updated version that you uploaded, but i get: FAILURE: Submitted .sis file uses a UID that is not allocated to the account holder matching this email address (0xa0006504) |

But this is an unprotected UID,that I got from symbiansigned this week. Then I have no solution. ![]() |
|
So, next try with a maybe not unique unprotected UID, so be warned. But Symbian forces us to publish not unique UID...
PyNetMony 0.7.6 not unique unprotected UID
