Ther is lot of confusion regardin opp and obex profiles ![]() But I know very few thing which I want to share with you... What's a profile? A Bluetooth profile (e.g LAN, FAX, FTP, Headset, DUN, etc) is a defined set of functionally that clients and servers agree to in order to accomplish a certain task. A Bluetooth protocol (like RFCOMM, L2CAP, SDP, TCS, OBEX, WAP, HID) is a defined set of functionally that clients and servers agree to in order to send and receive data. Bluetooth Profiles ensure that Bluetooth devices work together to accomplish a certain function. For instance, if my Bluetooth PDA and my Bluetooth Network Access Point both implement that LAN Access Profile, then I can use my PDA to access the internet... Regards, Parag Purkar |
