Can Python extract cellid from 2nd edition 3rd FP phones -

Hi, I wondering if Python can extract cellid infor from the 2nd ed, 3rd FP phones such as N70? I had very contrasting repiles from various people recently, so I would like to confirm it. If it can work, does it mean it is possible to work on all 2nd ed, 3FP phones or just N70? Additionally, does anyone have a code for it?
If it doesn't work for 2nd ed, is it possible for the 3rd edition and which phones models does it work on? Similarly, does any one has the code to do so? Pls pls reply me if you know. Would appreciate it sooo much.

 Well I have used cellid in a application that i have built for 2nd edition FP2 and it works fine.Hope that solves ur confusion. -Pankaj Nathani
