Hello! I'm new here, therefore not exactly sure I'm posting this the right place...
I need to design a solution for a cellphone that will somehow alert the cellphone user when a certain command is received over a continuous tcp socket connection. I have done this already using j2me, but it does NOT work whilst you have a phone call. It should be able to notify the user:
How can I do this? |

Some phones do not support simultaneous data and voice calls.
Some phones do not support running Java MIDlets on the background So this really depends on the phone you are using. What phone are you targeting? Hartti |

From java, I hear you can't vibrate the device during a call.. Is this a case for all phones? |
