Hi,
I'd like my application to send email from E61 phone. For example, user has set up to receive/send Yahoo email from his phone. When he selects "Messaging/E-mail" from his phone, it will popup the mail form with "To", "Subject" etc. When he selects "send", it will send email using yahoo smtp. How can I write a program that will launch the same mail form and send email through yahoo smtp. I don't want to set up my own SMTP server, but rather use the email accounts set up by the user. Thanks a lot! Wayne |

Hi,
If I understood it correctly, you cannot access system's settings for email from a Java ME application. Anyway, if you want to send email from Java ME app, check the article below: J2ME Low-Level Network Programming with MIDP 2.0 http://developers.sun.com/mobility/m...ork/index.html Kind regards, Juarez Alvares Barbosa Junior - Brazil |
