I am trying to read a 10 sec wav file and do some processing on the raw data. My script takes 13 seconds to run on the N93. When I run the same script unchanged on the Panasonic X700 it takes only 6 seconds! If I am not wrong the N93's processing power is far superior than the X700.
Can anyone explain to me why the N93 might be taking longer. I tried using miso library to set_thread_priority and set_process_priority but it didnt seem to affect the processing times on either phone even after setting the maximum possible priority values that the phones would allow. Any insights on this will be greatly appreciated. Zahoor |
