Convert a color image in a black/white image... HELP! -

Hi!!
I have some (!) problems with a conversion of a color image into a black/white image... I don't know in what way I can modify the array of int containig the argb code, because this coding is very difficult to manage...Moreover, I don't know what are the codes for black and white... Help! :'( Thanks
