how java operates on series 40 and 60???

series 60 always installs the java application
on the other hand on series 40 we just copy paste and start applications.

in series 60 java applicatiosn seem running bit faster than series 40.

and there r small numerus security issues with regard to how 60 deals with java....

plz if anyone can give me some link to look at how 60 deals with java...

Series 40 and S60 devices are based on different operating system. Because of this and also because of other reasons (amount of memory, UI designs, etc) there are certain differencies with MIDlets on those platforms. The Series 40 phones also do a MIDlet installation (this process is to some extent defined in MIDP 2.0 spec), however there is no user interaction required.
