API for PC connectivity with mobile in java -

Hi to all,
I am developing application which will communicate with mobile from PC. My question-Is there any API for PC connectivity with mobile in java. Like in c#,Visual C++ and VB we can use SCOM with namespace symbianconnect API for PC connectivity.
