strange behavior -

My application has the following statement causing problem.
display.setCurrent(alert, list); there is already another list object set as current before this statement. but when this line executes it flickers the alert and shows file system and after 1 second it shows the next list. i am testing on E50 and N70. the alert has 1 second timeout and it shows image. to me it looks like it happens only when i switch from one list object to another list object. please can anybody help me in this matter. thanks
