Hi,
When my application tries to access Contact List by using PIM objects functions like listPIMLists, openPIMList - the pop up questions that prompts the user to allow the access appear. The question is does signed application eliminate these pop up questions? Additional question relating to app signing: Is certified application compatible with specific phone groups (S40 3rd edition, all S40?) or to all MIDP2 phones? Thanks. |

Signing the MIDlet will make it trusted and remove the permission messages. The Signing is available from all MIDP 2.0 Phones.

Note, that the user has to manually change the API access settings to "Always allowed" after the application has been installed even if the MIDlet has been signed.
