Hi all.
Can anyone explain me how the LMU measure RTD in E-OTD method of GSM's positioning. As I read in a book of Axel, a LMU will calculate the RTD based on the arrival of time slots of data bursts from BTSs. However, the distances from those BTSs to LMU are different so that is only time difference observed by LMU. Should fixed distances from BTSs to LMU should be used to calculate the RTD??? or LMU measure RTD in other ways.
