Hi
I want to create application (Symbian C++) that would work in background and listen for incoming messages from JavaME application. I am not familiar with JavaME but I know that there are restriction in JavaME that can be avoided using SymbianC++ like: - getting cell ID - getting network name - service provider name - getting imei - getting to sms inbox - getting call list - getting signal strength if You can please tell me about some more things that you would like to do using java (but it's imposible) and can be probably done using symbian c++ maybe starting other appliactions, dropping calls etc? (I am aware of signing issues connected with symbian c++ apps) many thanks in advance |

Here are the key MIDP 3.0 features as listed by Balagopal: http://blogs.forum.nokia.com/blog/ba...07/17/midp-3.0 Java Community Process for MIDP 3.0 (JSR 271): http://jcp.org/en/jsr/detail?id=271 Regards, r2j7 |
