Are you trying to simply make your application installable, or do you specifically need a sisx extension? Ensymble can make sis files which are almost the same thing, don't know about sisx though.

I used ensymble and built sis file but my phone didnt accept it, so i need sisx file. As i know 3rd Ed. doesnt support sis files.

S60 3rd edition phones do accept sis files, my N95 does without problem. So there was probably something wrong with the one you created. Did you use ensymble 0.25? It doesn't seem to work with PyS60 1.4.2, so you must use http://discussion.forum.nokia.com/fo...d.php?t=125616 the 0.26 version, which has been recently released.

Nokia 6300 is not an S60 device, but a Series 40 one. Thus it is not capable of running Python programs, only Java ME and Flash Lite 2.0: http://www.forum.nokia.com/devices/6300

Ensymble generates SISX files. The suffix is .sis because that is what Symbian recommended at one time.
