i need help choosing a phone. i need a phone which supports
gps (jsr-179) bluetooth (jsr-82) and can *capture* images with java. i'm with t-mobile (gsm) in seattle right now and i'm trying to find the least expensive to midrange phone that can handle the above. i will probably buy an unlocked phone off of ebay. i've spent hours searching but after reading the FAQ in the forum here, i was a little concerned about which phone met all the specs above. the FAQ said that certain phones handled the mmapi api but not all of them could capture images. thanks nick |

Hello nick,
Regarding N73: yes, the phone supports MMAPI + getSnapShot() method. With an unlocked device, there shouldn't be any problems using the JSR + the method. For future device search, here's a tool: http://www.forum.nokia.com/advanced-...yEmVUAAACZAAAA The page includes different features in alphabetical order for specified searching. From 'Java API' search feature, you can search devices with three dropdown lists by setting following: 'mandatory','equal to', '<JSR xx>' You can add more Java APIs as search criteria by clicking 'add additional value'.
