i need help choosing a phone. i need a phone which supports

gps (jsr-179)
bluetooth (jsr-82)

and can *capture* images with java.

i'm with t-mobile (gsm) in seattle right now and i'm trying to find the least expensive to midrange phone that can handle the above. i will probably buy an unlocked phone off of ebay. i've spent hours searching but after reading the FAQ in the forum here, i was a little concerned about which phone met all the specs above. the FAQ said that certain phones handled the mmapi api but not all of them could capture images.

thanks
nick

Hello nick,

Regarding N73: yes, the phone supports MMAPI + getSnapShot() method. With an unlocked device, there shouldn't be any problems using the JSR + the method.

For future device search, here's a tool:

http://www.forum.nokia.com/advanced-...yEmVUAAACZAAAA

The page includes different features in alphabetical order for specified searching. From 'Java API' search feature, you can search devices with three dropdown lists by setting following:

'mandatory','equal to', '<JSR xx>'

You can add more Java APIs as search criteria by clicking 'add additional value'.

Regards,
