Hi,
Where can I find(if any) Midlet to test TCP/UDP connections on a Mobile phone ? Is there a Midlet developed by anybody which can do some regression test on TCP/UDP connections, which can also have a option to select different test cases? Basically this is to test the TCP/UDP connections in phone for GPRS/CSD. Let me know if somebody has this midlet developed and wants to share it or if it is available on internet. Thanks Hashmat |

Hello Hashmat,
not sure if this is the kind of app it should be, but here it goes: http://www.forum.nokia.com/info/sw.n...1_0_1.zip.html Regards, r2j7 |

Hello r2j7,
Thanks for the link. This gives basic socket development midlets. I was looking for a robust midlet which can be tweaked for different kinds of connections and data transfer. Eg., A midlet taking input from a file for different testcases, like send 100 character * to y.y.y.y IP address to port 1000 using TCP. Basically, a midlet to test the robutstness of TCP/UDP connection in a Mobile phone. Thanks, Hashmat |
