Hello,
I've been working with the positioning module on an N80 S60 3rd series and been unable to get permission to use any functions in the module except positioning.position() which returns a bunch of NaNs... I'm using Python 1.4.2 and my Python shell is signed with the devcert for my phone with full permission. Anyone know why I can't get permission? |

Can you use a tool (sisinfo.py for example) to check that your Python shell sis is really signed correctly with capabilities. This really sounds like there is a problem with capabilities. Mikko Ohtamaa Twinapex Research http://www.twinapex.com |

I have signed the script shell with a devcert from Nokia R&D. I have also tried just wrapping up the app and signing that. I must be missing some basic step or something? Anyone know of a walkthrough for setting up the script shell with location capabilities?

1) Just download the Python ScriptShell from here 2) Now sign the downloaded file using opened signed online at symbiansigned.com . Make sure to select the location capability. It will surely work ![]() Best Regards Croozeus |
