Hi,
I would like to mass-import (and do some manipulation over) an archive of SMS taken from another phone - not a nokia, I have the messages in both CSV and XML forms.

I was wondering if there's an easy way to write into the SMS archive; I was planning to write my program in Python, obviously.

My biggest questions are:
  • is there a description of the C struct used to write a single SMS, as saved in the C:/System/Mail/ subdirectories?
  • does C:/System/Mail/Index (and maybe other files) need to be updated, or is just safe to drop new files under C:/System/Mail/ subdirectories?

Thanks!
