Attempting location estimate using cell ID -

After some investigation I have been able to acquire the cellID of the cell tower currently connected to a non-GPS enabled phone. Now I'm under the impression that this ID is useless unless I have access to a database of locations like GoogleMaps does with "MyLocation". Does anyone know if there is a legitimate way to access this database of user-created GPS locations that "MyLocation" uses. the Google Maps API doesn't seem to offer this, if it does can someone please point me in the right direction?
To Sum things up: I have the cellID, I don't have cell tower locations, I need Longitude/Latitude estimate on S60_3rd_FP1. Please Help =).

hiii pls help me with finding cell tower info using symbian c++
im fed up searching for a working piece of code pls help with working code (project is greatly apppreciated) iam a new bie to symbian c++ 9chakri@gmail.com

Please help yourself ... asap. All you have to do is search for Cell ID in the Symbian Networking & Messaging forum. The API you need is ETel3rdParty API (CTelephony) and there are plenty discussions on this topic on that forum and many code samples in the Wiki
