hi
I am trying to install an application on Nokia 6270, which consists of two midlets. One is the main midlet which is invoking the other midlet using Push Registry.
Currently when application is launched, both the midlet names are displayed in the launch menu.
Is there any to hide or remove the other midlet name from yhe launch menu or Can we directly invoke the main midlet from applications menu?

Any help will be appreciated

Thanks
Ajit

There are two midlets in the application. When the application is launched both the midlets are shown in the application launch menu.
Is it possible to bypass this application launch menu where both the midlet names are displayed and the main midlet is launched automatically. This main midlet is in turn going to invoke the other midlet

Any help will be appreciated
Thanks

Do you mean that without clicking on main midlet ikon you would like to start your application directly??

in that case i won't be possible i think..

Maybe this will make the picture more clear:-

Go to applications menu -> Click on the application icon -> Now both the midlet names would be displayed(main midlet and the other midlet which is being invoked by the main midlet through the Push Registry).
I want only the main midlet name to be displayed on the screen.

Is it possible to do so??

or Can we bypass the screen on which both the midlet names are displayed? Like after clicking on the application the main midlet is launched automatically..

Thanks
Ajit

For both cases: Not possible.

Also note that on some phones the MIDlet suite with multiple MIDlets is displayed differently (for example on S60 devices the MIDLet suite itself is not shown, only the MIDlets inside it.
