Since Series 60 phones are able to open several Bluetooth channels at a time, we want to improve our application to make use of it in the next version.
I.e. we want to do at the same time: 1. Copy files via ObexFTP 2. Synchronize data via SyncML 3. Communicate with the DUN channel using AT commands (e.g. send an SMS) Our tests (with a N73) doing 1. and 2. at the same time show, that it works most of the time. In case it does not, the mobile phone "dies" and you have to remove the battery to put it into function again. Our software is tested to work fine with only one open channel at a time. My question: is the use of several channels allowed in general, or do you not guarantee for it to work? Do we have to make sure, that "data packages" aren't mixed somehow? Any rules? Ralf |
