Hi,
I have an application that connects to the Bluetooth DUN service of my mobile phone. By using the hyperterminal and the windows console application that I have done using C language, I am able to dial out to a fixed line. However, when I switch to the GPRS mode using +CGDCONT=1,"IP","APN", I will get the NO CARRIER error after I dial *99#. My service provider has verified that the *99# is the correct number to dial. Please do advice me on how I can proceed. Thanks and regards, PS |

Do you change ‘APN’ to the Access Point Name of your provider? Your provider cannot determine whether *99# is the correct number to dial as this number depends on your mobile phone. *99# or similar tells your phone to use a provided access point name. When you deal with AT commands and use +CGDCONT=1,… than I recommend to use *99***1# as dialling number, too.
Nevertheless, for questions like this one, I recommend to contact end-user-support channels, as there are much more users – than here at Forum Nokia discussions for developers – allowing a faster reply, normally. |
