Hi All,
In My Application ( One Game) , sometimes SMS/MMS notification not showing, even though i set beep sound for sms notification.

I need notification in my application.

Hmmm... I do not understand your problem. Could you please describe the problem in more detail. What SMS/MMS notification? Do you mean the confirmation which is required for sending SMS/MMS messages? etc.
Or do you mean receiving SMS/MMS messages?

No hartti. If I set an alert tone in mobile, when i receive sms/mms, even though if it is in my application, mobile should stop the current sound(if any sound playing) and alert the sms/mms with tone. After that, Application sound resume .It is not haapening in my application. But If I give call interruption, it works well.

I think u got my question. any idea?

I still do not understand what do you mean by "give call interruption"...

Is it a normal SMS you are receiving (going to the inbox, I mean?)

Call Interruption means , its getting call only, while application is running.
and SMS is normal SMS, which goes to inbox. But at the time of recieving sms, device will notify with alert tone. That is not happening in my application.

Yep, calls need to get through. Hmmm... JavaVerified testing criteria requires that SMSs need to create at least a notification for the user if not interrupt the app. Have you tested the app on any other phones if the SMS notifications get through?

yes, AFAIK at least a beep/sound effect should be there to imply of an arrived SMS/MMS.

Some questions:

1) Do you get this beep/sound effect when the game's not on?

2) If you have the phone's music player on and receive an SMS, do you get this beep/sound effect then?
