Hi,
is it possible to start the camera with a platformrequest?

Sample platformrequests:
----------------------------
Telephone Calls:
platformRequest("tel:+123456789");

Start other midlet:
platformRequest("http://localhost:8084/App.jad");

Open a file:
platformRequest("file:///C:/Data/Videos/20032008.mp4");

Open the browser:
platformRequest("http://www.yahoo.com");




Is it possible to use other protocols like capture, device with the platformrequest?
(Supported Protocols on (on Nokia 6110): rtsp, device, http, https, file, capture)

Ok, is there another way to start the camera with j2me?
The application is for nokia, so i have an idea:
Can i start a symbian application with j2me? And the symbian client start the native camera!?

Because i have to fix the problems:
- with j2me camera, it´s not possible to make 5MB pictures (prio 1)
- on N95 no fullscreen for the native camera possible (prio 3)

You can take pictures with MMAPI classes (you create a player with capture locator and take snapshots with that) but there are some limitations as you mention.

Not possible to start Symbian application from Java ME.
