How To Auto-Save a Form -

Hi All,
I'm trying to create an app to send the contents of a form by an SMS. The problem is i have to always select options--->save before sending the message. Otherwise, it sends the previously saved data. Is there a way the form can auto-save whenever "send" is clicked? Thanks
