Hi, i have a question. I am developing for theNokia Series 60 platform, and specifically i am testing the
apps, on a real Nokia E62. I am developing on Netbeans 6 an application using SVG.
What i have tested:
1. Emulating, i have tested the app on the default ColorPhone which comes with netbeans. There is an specific example called
SVGContactList.
2. When i switch the project to use the S60 Emulator, the app doesnt work properly, altough it shows distorted graphs.
3. Finally, when i load the app to the phone, it works, but when its time to show the svg graphs, it doesnt shows anything, altough the app doesnt crash neither blocks, just doesnt do anything.

Any ideas which could be the problem? Until i know the S60 series supports SVG, so is it specifically the devic? the E62?

mmm, seraching around i found that e62 and e61 from nokia dont support svg. Can anyone confirm this?

Or is it because "S60 caches icons between runs of your application - so sometimes when you update an icon you still see the previous version. Do not losing your mind - it's caching the icon. Try restarting the phone when updating icons. "

I have the same behavior on Nokia E65 so i think the SVG support is completly missing (at least as J2ME feature).

tks, is there an official list of S60 svg enabled phones?

It distracted me that the s60 emulator did show svg support! Wasted work ...

SVG support was added in S60 3rd Edition FP1.

SVG API was initially going to be in S60 3rd Edition, but it was finally implemented completely in S60 3rd Edition FP1. We need to document this in our known issues.

ok, thanks for answering. So JSR 226 cannot run on E62 :(...
