Keypad entry on a text control only inputs the face keys, i.e "1-9*#'

Am I missing something? is there no way for a user to use predictive text or plain mobile text entry?

What do you use for taking text inputs?

Do you use the appuifw module or the raw input.

You need to have it as "text" in appuifw input to input some text rather then numbers

appuifw.query(u"Enter text, "text")
