I developing a client server application
client is the mobile user, server is the service provider.... server will update the database such as mysql.... So far I know mobile user donnot have huge storage. It depend on the server to do the storage... Can I use J2ME in client side then for the server side is J2SE + J2ME code? Can my database using Mysql? Thanks.... |

Ya you can do it. Use jsp or any language for it.

on server side I like PHP together with MySQL. Quite easy and lots of examples for that combo available...

And on the server side you do not need Java ME, just Java EE + MySQL or LAMP stack as suggested by Hartti.
