hi,
what are reasons why a device is reporting that it discovering another device when the other device is not discoverable? my program, running on an e65 runs an inquiry and displays what it discovers. i have a nokia 6230 that once it's discovered by the e65 it keeps being discovered even if i change it to hidden and even if i turn bluetooth off on it. how can that be? is there something i need to do before every inquiry cycle, like clear some cache or something? thanks rk |

Discovered devices are cached by the host resolver.
If you're working in C++, you can disable the cache with KHostResIgnoreCache flag in TInquirySockAddr::SetAction(). Lauri |
