Hello all

i'm currently doing a project regarding mobile phone security and i'm wondering if it is possible to create a data wiping or cloning program thru the use of python.i would also like to know if it is possible to do encryption for the phone in python.

From what I understand you want to know if it's possible to copy and/or delete files. Yes, it's possible. See this article. Note that you can delete files and folders when running the program in the Script Shell, but when making the sis file, you may need to add capabilities to it. But you should just take it one step at a time.

Regarding the encryption application, i was hoping to create a simple one, like maybe 256 bit AES for encrypting passwords or files stored on the phone.

if encryption is possible, i would also use it in the data cloning program. The idea is to create a secure cloning of data.

yes i think you can set a password and use the database concept to get what you want.
