N95 / N95 8GB:

When I install my application on internal mass storage it becomes incredible slow. When I install on memory card, everything is fine.

What can be the problem here?

What is your MIDlet doing? How much is "incredible"?
Are these European or U.S. models?

It is an European model and happens only on N95 8GB. N95 is ok, I must correct myself here. Even N81 8GB is ok. My MIDlet is using RMS, but I do not understand, why phone memory is ok and mass storage not. Slow means: It blocks for about 20 seconds.

Which firmware does that phone have? Also, do you have (and approx. how many) other applications/data on that mass storage? Is installation of other applications equally slow?

I have a same problem and I have version. v.30.0.018.

This is a really serious problem with j2me. Most of software is unusable, cause they are way too slow. If I install application to phone's memory there is no lag at all.
