can anyone tell me where can I download this package? I only found api for this (jsr 226), but no package. Thanks!

I have found the solution for this problem, but now there is another one...
I'll start from the beginning: my midlet is getting jpg image from http connection, and it needs to be scaled to fit screen. As I couldn't find the way to do it (I've found some methods on the net, but always got different exceptions), my idea is to try with SVG images. Now the problem is converting .jpg,.gif,... to .svg (inside the midlet)! Any ideas...? Thanks!

IvP, I would not even try to create a jpg/gif to svg converter. The problem is that SVG as a file format is so different than bitmap graphics formats.
If you get the images in SVG, then by all means use SVG. If you work with jpgs (por other bitmaps), you need to do the scaling yourself. Unfortunately. Hartti
