Hey people,
I'm wondering rather I can retrieve the buttery status of the phone I tried to use "javax.power.monitor.PowerMonitor" but whlie compiling i got the following error: Quote:

There is no access to battery information in Java ME (althouh some phones might have proprietary extensions for that). Compiling your MIDlet with PowerMonitor package doe snot solve this.
If the phone allows native applications to be installed (like S60 phones) you could create a native application which gets the battery data and passes that information through local socket connection to a MIDlet (so called MIDPJNI workaround). On S60 phones you could also easily create a Python app for that. Hartti |
